Default help with HID's!

I bought a Xentec low beam H11 6000k set two weeks ago. Installed them in Pittsburgh, they worked fine a few days driving down to Florida. A few days later, the driver light goes out then eventually both are out. Lights only flicker when I try to turn them on. Fast forward to this weekend I order a relay harness and wire everything up off the battery. Bulbs don't even flicker and ballasts don't seem to be igniting bulbs. I mailed the ballasts back this Saturday so hopefully that is the issue. We'll see when I get new ballasts back. Sorry to be so long winded but does anyone have any other suggestions for a 2008 NBS Silverado?

Well not much to them, its either the harness, ballast, or bulbs that aren't working

Did you kill the auto headlamp feature. If not, it'll kill the bulbs in short time. It's really hard on them when you're cranking and they are trying to light.

thats what i heard..... couple of my friends who bought cheaper HID kits, have their bulbs go out quick. i have had mine 2 years now, with the auto headlamp and still work like a charm, but i did pay almost twice what they did, and i have 5 year warranty on mine.

Before start up set the headlight **** to the running lights. After starting go back to auto.
