help! glue still on after pinstiripe(pics)

Default help! glue still on after pinstiripe(pics)

i removed pinstripe because it started peeling off...
now there is glue
whats the best way to take it off? i tried goo gone, but it takes too long... any faster way?

You could try some type of clear coat polish. I have had good luck using , Ford clear coat polish . You will probibly end up doing the whole truck once you start ,though .

3M makes an adhesive removing wheel, it fits on your drill, works really well

i dont want to use clearcoat polish if i have to do the whole truck.

make sure you wash and wax the area after you gas it. it strips your wax

its called pinstripe removal wheel. it only messes with your paint if you spin in harder than 2000rpm....my drill only goes to 800. i used it and didnt mess anything up

I have a 3M adhesive romover in a can...worked very well on the badges and I am sure it will work on this.

Goo gone and a hair dryer or heat shrink gun set on low. Scrape with plastic putty knife or scrub with a towel.

WD40 will remove it and not hurt the paint.
