i have a 2wd with a set of denali wheels (17x7 i think) and i gotta get a set of tires, not sure what size to get, i dont exactly wanna get the stock huge tires that come on them but at the same time im not gonna drop my truck at all so not sure what size to go with.. any suggestions or pictures??

a 275/60/17 is a 30" tall tire. i used to run that on my s10. i know dude tha runs that size on a set of esclade wheels. but stock height

 

holy **** a 30", thats really tall haha thats 3" smaller than the tires on my blue truck, maybe ill do the 2" shackle, what could i run w/that?

 

I've seen them with the stock 265/70R17s with a 2" shackle and thought they looked pretty good. I forget if "klemmentine" is on this forum or not, but he has that setup:
