Heat Extraction Hood

You can see the whole top charger...the compressor cover is obviously not covered, the exhaust housing has a blanket on it. That's all you can really see since the rest is buried down lower under the piping. Yes, that's a compound set-up. A 64/71/14 over a billet S478. Makes over 70psi on that motor with drive pressures at 1:1 ratio.
Where are you located?
I do industrial insulation and I have some fiberglass wrapping that we use on small pipes. It's a pain in the *** to get on but it works very well. You have to soak the whole roll in water to keep the fibers down when applying it then spray it with one of those silicone aerosol sprays afterwards for regular header wrap.
This is an industrial product that is made to hold up to 1000+ degrees non stop 24/7 for years. It's not the same thing you'll find at Auto Zone. lol
I can have some sent to me next week and send you a sample to try out. If it works I can get you enough to do all your piping. You're right....that's too much for a custom blanket.
Personally I wouldn't be looking at a hood to solve the issue...I'd go to the source.
If you wanna try it lemme know....it may take me a week or so to get it to you but I get it for free....so would you.

Random User is sending me some of that heavy duty wrap to me free of charge!!

So when I get that stuff I plan to try it out and see how well it helps cool the engine bay. Not sure I'll be able to do all the pipes but I can hopefully get the cross-overs wrapped and then go from there.

Vents like this (to a smaller scale) stamped into the black stripe of your current hood would look pretty good while being discreet. Might need a drip tray if you drive it in the rain though.
