Plan to do this (these) Mod(s) - all pictures are so old that they aren't available anymore...can anyone post pics of what this looks like at the relay under the hood? If I understand correctly, you just add the diode between the relays (at the specific pin) along-side the pin? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

slonlow2000 - thanks for the pix...they showed me I was right in my thinking about how this worked. Did this tonight (low tied to high, and DRL tied into low) and love how they all work now.

Does anybody have a preference on which one of these diodes to use? One is just a 12 volt and the other is just the part # listed on the first page. I run HID lows if that matters. Thanks

just read a couple pages back that the 'zener' type diode won't work properly...

EDIT: I went ahead and tried the other diode (IN4004) and it works fine. I couldn't get the diode inside the wiring pins under the dash without bending so I used the relay method.

Mine were the same way. Its your ambient light sensor. I pulled the sensor and clipped the wires, then added an LED between the wires. You can either buy a new sensor or add some resistance between the wires and it will force your DRLs to be on all the time. Hope this helps.
