Default HD Front End Swap

Along with my shaving my door handles i'm interested in swaping a HD front end on my 02' silverado. What is required to do this? I know it has something to do with lowering my front bumper, but i'm not quite sure. If anyone has done this, some info and pics would be great. Thanks

The hood and grill will bolt right on, no mods. The bumper must be lowered to accomendate the larger bumper pad on the hds. I believe you have to cut and reweld the bumper mounting brackets to get everything to fit right. The only parts you need though are the hood, grill, and bumper cap.

So all that is needed is the hood, grille, bumper cap, and a little welding on the brackets? If so, I may have a new front end in the very near future! An HD tahoe would be sweet!

yeah all you need is hood, grill and bumper cap. From what I can recall the bumper needs to be moved down 2"

I thought i could use my stock hood, cause i really don't like the HD hood, but i love the big grille. It sounds like it's fairly easy to do so i'll probably go for it if i can use my stock hood.
