I have an 06 Sierra extended cab. It's Summit White.

My budget is small, so it takes me a long time to complete projects. My next project, after working out the kinks in my new tranny is a cam.

Anyway, I don't mind the stock look, but I eventually plan on dropping another 2" (total 2/4) and probably some cleaner 17" wheels)

1. Mirrors. I like the size of these mirrors and they will be very hard to part with. However paint paint matching a white truck, to me, is too much white. Any other color it looks great. I was thinking of the Cal-Vu mirrors. Has anyone switched and hated them? I'm worried they will be too small to be functional.

2. Handles- I don't really like chrome, but I think it looks clean on the bumpers. I was thinking paint matched buckets which chrome pulls on the front, and all paint matched tailgate handle. A chrome pull on the back would be too much IMO

3. Im undecided on whether or not I want the roll pan. I use my truck for work, carefully. I rarely tow, but sometimes I need to tow a small trailer or cement mixer.

4. Grill- I think a billet grill would be too much against the white. I was thinking leave the stock grill but paint match the GMC emblem.

After I have more mods to back it up, I'd like to do a cowl hood.

I'm basically going after Trever1t's silver truck, but I'm thinking it may be too much white. If I get smaller, paint matched mirrors it would work.

Escalade handles
Keep the stock mirrors paint the body white with chrome caps
Fully painted tailgate handle
And fully painted rear bumper OR painted platics with the chrome bumper (i have the former but think the latter looks equally good)

 

Don't spend money unless it adds powa.... GO before SHOW

Yeah I am doing those mods first, but just in regards to exterior appearance.

with white I would match door handles bumper caps and lower valance
