One of those things I'd like to get my hands on one of these days. Would go quite well with my truck.

You mentioned about how much room they have, everybody that sits in my truck is amazed at how much more room there is, and that's just the truck.

Thanks, it is like driving a house down the road.

I descided to get a video of the lack of mufflers.

I have been asked why I would take the mufflers off, this is why

The car port is making things distorted, and picking up more of the diesel rattle. Going down the road or sitting out in the open, it sounds like a cammed big block. My buddy didn't believe me that it was a diesel today.

What I rode around in as just a wee lad,

yes it is a 4x4 and diesel, yes, it has small white wall tires, but that was just after we got it. Soon after it had big all terrains on it. Check out the AWESOME running boards. Sucked that my mom was such a shrimp.

I also remember putting 2 injector pumps on it. Good times

Most of my memories involve Dad hooking a chain to something and draggin it away. The 30 ft cedar tree, the dude in our ditch in the big ford, the other dude in the other ditch in the chevy, etc etc. I remeber taking it off roading on vacation, and you and dad washing it and leaving the wash bay full of mud. I can also remeber Dad locking my door and making me ride across a parking lot standing on the running board, hangin on the door handle. I know he wasn't driving fast, but to a little guy, it felt like he was flying. And the time the dump truck rear ended us, tore up the dump truck and scratched our back bumper. Awe, fun times.

Nice find, my neighbor has one of them garage kept, two tone black and silver, only it is a gasser, but is mint with 41k on the lock, I have been wanting it forever.. THEM 6.2 naturals don't freaking die. We had a p/u at work with one of them and lockers with 410's, was a fuking beast, we called it the Creeper...

Looked up where the tv detent adjustment was last night. I got that sorted out, now it drives even better.

I printed out the instructions from Gale Banks Engineering on how to turn up the injection pump. Hopefully I can get that done pretty soon. I would love to see the thing rolling some black smoke. Banks says it is good for a 30% percent increase in power, now thats what I call a free mod. 30% of a 120 hp (36 hp) may not be much, but it should make it feel like a completely different vehicle.

I can understand why you took the mufflers off -insert big grin-.

Seems like you're moving right along with this thing.

My wife drove it today, for the first time since I started working on it. She walked into my office smiling, said that she didn't think they were supposed to be that loud.

She is liking it more and more everytime she drives it.

I drove it about 25 miles through a windy hwy yesterday, 1 finger on the steering wheel the whole time, running 65 mph. Can't beat that with a stick!
