I got my escalade handles, tailgate handle and bezel from Fogle04 yesterday and put them on. They look great and really change the way my truck looks. Fogle ordered my tailgate handle and bezel and it turned out that they were textured and rather than make me wait he went ahead and smoothed and painted them at no charge to me hows that for customer service. Great guy if you need any body parts Fogle04 can hook you up. He painted a grille shell for me too that will be in later this week Ill take pics and post them up. I have one of the hardest colors to match and he nailed it perfectly. On my pewter s-10 I didnt have such luck with other places so I was pleasantly surprised when the color was dead on.

 

They look awesome!

 

Painted grille shell and ss tailgate cap are up next and maybe a painted wiper valance depending on my funds. I cant make up my mind dynojet wideband commander or painted wiper cowl.

 

The SS cap will look good. I have one waiting to be put on but don't know how to get rid of these medal rivets that were left from the original tg cap.

Will fogle04 paint parts not ordered from him? I have some dr handles and tg handle and bezel that I need painted.

 

yep i sure will paint them. ill paint anything you need. im not sure but i dont think you have to take those rivets out. if you do then just grind them off.

They stick out past the outer shell of the tailgate. I have thought about that but I don't want to mess up the tailgate either. I have thought about drilling them out but not sure what type and style of bit to use.

 

The ss cap will cover the holes left by the screws. They are screws right? Havent looked at them that close but the dont look like rivets.

 

What's left behind after you take off the factory tg cap are some pressed in metal threaded rivets.

 

Take a drill bit that is the same size as the hole thats just a little bigger than the ID of the rivet and drill em out.

 

i think there is a lip on the cap that makes it stick up over the rivets.
