Default GMC molding is here

Hey guys I just pulled the hot wheel tracks off the other day and it looks a lot better already, but I am putting the GMC molding on just to be safe. Does anyone have any tips on surface prep and how to stick it on straight. I was thinking about washing the area with dish soap, then drying it and then wipe it down with a cloth dipped in rubbing alcohol. I am also thinking about using 2 long pieces of masking tape all the way down the truck as a guide for the molding. Anyone have any tips or advice? Oh yeah the molding was only 117 dollars shipped from partszoneonline. It isn't listed on the web site so shoot them an email or even better call them directly. I won't mention any names, but another place I emailed wanted 200 dollars!

cash,
the lift is going to stay on because i dont feel like going through the hassle of taking it off because putting it on was a bit of a pain.
The rims and tires will be coming off as soon as i can find a set of stock rims...
WAITING ON RENEGADE TO GET BACK WITH ME!!!!

WTB GMC seats not really. I just stuck the molding on and it was a bitch to get it all straight and perfect. I could still see the marks where the old molding was, so I ran some masking tape all the way down the truck following where the old molding was. I cleaned the paint with alcohol to remove the wax and junk then stuck it on. I was on the last piece and I dropped it and it left a couple of really tiny marks, but I said f$*k it and stuck it on even though I was pissed. I also noticed that my bed is off center to the right by about an inch! It needs to be moved over about half an inch to center it up. I wonder if this is the problem and not the axles being off center? Oh well it was worth the 117 dollars and I will post some pics as soon as I get the camera back BadblackZ are you keeping the truck or selling/trading it?
