Thanks guy. It's part of the fun in it for me. What else would I do when I'm taking a break from it other than share things with the group. You also get some damn good advice.

Thank ya sir. Sure you could do it. Never know till you try! Will admit and like I've said before. Damn challenging but it just might work out.

Okay paint guru's... Think I'm doing okay but want to check. I've started wet sanding. 1000 grit wet. Based upon my other source for info... They actually start out at 800 grit. Pro's they are. Anyway its cutting very easily. I've done some small wet sanding and buffing on spots on the truck. This fresh clear is mucho easier to work.

When I go back out I'm going to try some 1500 or 2000. Going to far with the first sanding? Should I go back over this with 2000? Course idea being to get the peel out and keep enough clear to buff back to a shine. It'd doesn't appear that I'm getting thin anywhere.... YET.

The dust I've been worried about. There was also a major crater from the fly that I got 95% out.

DAMN! That came out easy.

Getting happier all the time. Waiting on the oh **** I've sanded through the clear, sinking feeling I can't help it I'm a real pessimist.

**** man, I do not see ANYTHING wrong with that. I have seen ALLOT worse come out of the premier body shops around LA.....

They NEVER come out of the booth perfect, thats what color sanding and buffing is for.

Great work, keep it up!

Thanks Brian. I guess not being experienced with painting I was expecting it to be a lot cleaner. You see it on TV all the time the perfect panels in 50K paint booths. You're right its coming out in the color sanding and buff.
