Default Ext Cab Systems

I have 2 12w3v2's and i guess they are starving for in the setup they are in. Show me your ext cab systems that are under the back seat and tell me how they hit. Mine hit hard but everyone outbumps me. the only thing i got is clarity and ive heard cleaner systems that cost 1000 less the mine. Here are some pictures of my setup

Trucks are actually difficults to make loud compared to some cars or SUVs. It's just something with the desgin. My T/A with the same equipment is WAAY louder than my truck but my truck is much better in over SQ. *shrug*

Lots of things can effect how loud your system is, especially tuning. One problem is the 12w3s are not made to be SPL speaker. They are made to hit decent, sound good and hit a lil lower than your average speaker..

Check out my sig, page 3 for all the details....

They hit really good and are really loud for 10's, I have 1600 watts going to them. I realize you have 12's and they wouldn't fit like I have mine, but just showing you what's out there...

Thanks! Lots of time went into doing it right.

2.5 x 4.5 x 22 or 23, don't remember which. I tuned it to low 30's.

NP man, you desreve props on it. It looks well thought out and constructed. I can see why it hits hard for 2 10s. So you used the floor of the truck as the bottom of the box or did you put a bottom on the box?

You're giving me ideas for my new box in my Ext.Cab since I broke my 2 Eclipse 88series subs.

Nah there is a bottom on the box. Here's a pic of one side before I joined em together. If you decide to build something like this and need any help let me know (as much help as I can give from AZ anyway).
