Question Exhaust question with 2/4 drop

Hey guys, as some of you know I'm getting a Hotchkis 2/4 drop installed on my truck tommorow. Right now I have duals exiting the muffler with a 2" rear drop, which exit out the sides, behind the rear wheels. My question is, once I get the 2/4 drop will the exhaust clear the axle when it's close to full travel? I'm going to get rid of the oakey tips either way, since imo it looks cleaner without them on a dropped truck. I'll either get them tucked behind the rear bumper, or get turn downs. One more question for you guys with turn downs, are they much noiser than a system exiting past the rear wheels, and do they blow **** all over? Somebody was telling me that, so I just wanted to get your guys opinion. Thanks a bunch!

I had duals out the back when I first got my drop. I had no problems with axle clearance but I was constantly scraping the tips on driveways, parking garages, etc. not to mention how getto it looked with the 3.5" tips on a lowered truck. When I redid my exhaust I decided to dump before the axle. I wouldnt have it anyother way now. Really adds to the cleanliness of the truck with the hidden exhaust.

Thanks for the help, I'll probably get dumps before the axle then. Nice truck btw, very clean looking!

If you're not getting a notch it should clear either way, I think its designed to be non-interference even at full compression.
