TIA
I may be wrong but I dont think your truck has true-dual exhaust. Correct me if Im wrong. Therefor you can only get single-in dual-out. I dont know what the difference is on those two sized mufflers.

I have an original 40 series flowmaster. I've heard that the Delta Force flowmasters arent as loud, but I havent heard one in person so I cant vouche for that. My pipes are 2.5" all around w/ 3" tips. Oh yeah its a single-in and dual-out. I am very satisfied w/ the sound of the exhaust, especially at around 2k rpms.

Any one else have any suggestions for him?

If he has two cats on two seperate pipes coming off the manifolds then he can run a true-dual system

Well the shop that i am taking it to, said they have cut a pipe before to put two pipes into one muffler, and they also just leave it the same and just put one pipe into two mufflers. I dont know they just acted like it was only $20 more. I think i will be satisfied with the single in dual out. Thanks for all of your help guys.

Is it possible to have a manga flow muffler dumped that doesn't resonate in the cab really bad @2K? I love the sound of a dumped muffler, but I am on the highway alot and it gets old if that is all you are hearing.

The 22" Magnaflow would probably have the least resonance but I THINK you're going to get some resonance with dumped pipes, regardless. Just my opinion.
