I had true duals coming straight out the back on my 03.



It was nice, but I think for my new truck I'm going to try to hide the tips underneath the rear bumper.

ok guys since i am pretty new at this, what do you mean by dump it? Anyone got any pics of it??

I have a dual in/dual out magnaflow that goes into a y after the muffler then comes out the stock single tip:

this is an old pic, the truck looks nothing like that now, but the exhaust tip is the same:

When u "dump them" u cant see them all you can do is hear them.

Dump em: it means to use down spouts from the muffler right before the rear axle. When this is done, there is no exhaust pipe shown and the soundis affected, which in my opinon looks better and sounds better too...

Dump em.

dumping causes interior resonance really bad usually. that;s the only draw back becasue yes it sounds bad ***

errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! wrong answer! depends on the muffler/s. i had 2 40 series flows on mine for awhile and it was fine.

ok i am going with dual pipes not sure where though yet. So from what i have read and remember 14" mufflers are louder than 18" right?? Also should i go with dual in dual out or single in dual out? And what size in and what size out??
