Default Doors Lock Automatically

Is there a way to turn that feature off? I'd rather the doors on my truck not automatically lock when I'm driving. It's a big hassle to me......and I don't feel like driving 19 mph everywhere just so they won't lock (they lock at 20 mph)

O2 is correct. Head to your dealership and have them change it for you.

If it's a '99 model then you will have to take it to the dealer. If it's a 2000 and up model, then you can do it yourself - it is explained in the owner's manual.

I have the same problem with mine. I don't mind so much that they lock it's just they don't unlock in park like newer ones. Can the dealer do that?

It's a hassle in my opinion to have to unlock the doors everytime you shut the engine off. It's kind of like "big brother" telling you that you're not safe enough. I see it as a safety issue when it comes to getting out quickly if you needed to do so for whatever reason. Thanks for your opinion though.....

I believe the instructions on how to turn it off are in the manual. No need to go to the dealer.
