This is a little freaky...Cryptic Tire Code

Fiance just bought a 2008 HHR SS, so I went to check the coding on the Michelin's... 4207. 42nd week of 2007. Car was made Dec 2007, released to us Jan 2008.

I have to wait till daylight to check my Hankook Ventus St's

 

My Toyo's were 3 weeks old when I put them on my truck, I always check the build date on new tires I get

 

But how many ppl know about that code? I certaintly didn't.

I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to this stuff, but my Hankooks were made in Korea. Is the coding going to be on the inside of the tire?
