anyway I did this mod too on my sierra lights before I got bought my cleared halo projectors. The cutting thing is a good idea! But instead of a heat gun, I used nail polish remover with acitone which ate some of the glue away and made it easier to pull off. then you dont have the risk of having it stick back together with the heat gun

that nail polish remover seems like it might be a good idea if it only eats at the glue.

and a Dremel(hand held rotary tool) tool can be found at ANY harware or appliance store... probably even K-mart... it should come with a bunch of cut-off wheels

Well congrats...it only took you guys a year. I made a promise and I upheld it. My end is done. Now for saying I dont help anyone, I help plenty of people. I even bent that promise of mine once and told 2 gmfs members how to do it in danville. So it wasnt all on me, other people knew too.

But whatever seems the cats out of the bag, so I will help you guys out and post the pictures I have for you all to see.

Some advice, acetone to remove the gule is a very good idea, but purchase the grey silicone glue from gm directly it runs about 25$ per tube. Its the same gule/silicone that the factory uses to put them together in the first place. I hope these help you guys out.

Your taste sucks and If I ever see your truck driving around in CA, I will **** on your hood and do burnouts until your grille cloggs up with my rubber. [QUOTE]

And for the record, I don't think my "cheap looking" flipdown is any cheaper looking than someone putting a skull and crossbone sticker across the rear glass.
