Default cleaning stock wheels?

what's the best thing to clean stock wheels and make them shine again?

Dawn,sos pad,followed by some chrome polish if there chrome..

dont know what, but i know when that the carwash that is on scarsdale rd., by memorial hospital, they spray some kind of stuff on there and they make them look new!

Are you're stock wheels Aluminum or Chrome? I always just use soap and water regardless.

they are aluminum i did that process but i'm talking about taking off old stuff on the wheels i bought them from a friend but they have been sittin in his back yard for a year.rim cleaner?polisher?etc...

if the wheels dont have the clear on them spray them with simple green, polish them with mothers and then spray simple green to clean the residue off. it works awesome. or if they are still cleared than just the simple green and elbow grease. I use it because it doesnt wreck the shine after you polish and it takes all that brake dust and nastiness off the backside of the wheels
