now u got me wonderin!
I called and talked to a guy that has been doing Powder Coating in the Chicago area for 20 years and he said that the new chrome wheels a crap compared to the old stuff! He said it is hit and miss with the chrome bubbling up from the heat of the powder coating! I wish i could run my chrome year round but it won't hold up in Chicago! I had the wheels on for two weeks last year with thoughts that i will clean them every week and they started very little to pit. The wheels were from Tirerack? I'm very careful with all my stuff and couldn't handle it any more! My good Friend's Dad owns the Gmc/Buick/Pontiac dealer in Gurnee and he hooked me up with some Factory 20's and tires with only 7000 miles on them! I'll run these until i can be 100% happy with some othe combo!
