Default "Best" tonneau cover? OEM?

Any comments on the "best" or best bang for your buck tonneau cover? Looking at a soft cover for my Silverado. I was unsure if the GM covers are any good or if I should go with brand xyz?

It's been awhile since I looked at tonneau covers, so I didn't know what the best bang for the buck item is?

First... SEARCHING!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a ?truxedo? on my last truck. worked great and never an issue.

Just ordered a Gator unit for my new truck. 285 shipped.

Both sit on the tail gate, NOT BUMP UP TO IT.
Both have double latch ( driver and pass side latches)
both soft roll up
both no drilling

i went with the gator because it looks exactly like the more expensive one. I originally called about the truexado but it was 440.

It should be here thursday, ill install it and let you know

I have the Access Tonnosport Roll up cover. Had it over 3 years now and looks and functions great.

No idea what the running cost on one of those is now for a 14+ model.

Gator is a new brand name for me, which is why I posted. Any good place to order it from or check Amazon and Google the name?

I had a Truxedo before. Expensive but no issues. Sounds like you can almost get two Gators for the price of one Truxedo.

I have used the Bakflip F1 on 4 trucks now. Waterproof, 60lbs, no drilling, folds in 4 sections, and holds 500lbs on top evenly distributed. Its expensive but its a write off. Ive paid 1150 but shopped it too for 900ish.

I got a Truxedo ProX15 on my Ford. I really like it, it’s not glossy and never gets dirty.

I have a Retrax on my 17’ love it, but was definitely pricey. I bought it because I can lock the cover
and my tailgate, it is super low profile, rolls up, and holds weight when evenly distributed

never seen this one before. I like the look of the fabric instead of vinyl, never looks dirty you say? how long have you had it on the truck?
