Best Drop Kit
#1
Okay so I'm looking around and I"m trying to find a good drop kit for a 2006 ECSB 2wd. 2006 and 2005 are supposedly the same, so keeping that in mind which kits has anyone used and liked? I've seen many different types.
It looks as if the GroundForce 2/4 drop does the job, but I'm worried that maybe the torsion keys aren't as good as getting another kit that replaces the LCA's.
From what I've seen on other forums like BlazinLow there's a lot of guys using the Belltech kits. They seem to have a good reputation for being complete and including good instructions.
If anyone wants to post a pic of their truck that'd be nice so I can get to see what the difference might be between a 2/4 and 2/3, I know it's an inch but it might make a big difference. Thanks for the help again

MCGAUGHY'S......They won an award at SEMA from GM on their drop spindle kits. I went with their 2/4 spindle drop and I have been very pleased.

i also have the mcgaughy's 2/4 kit with drop spindles and it rides great. i just need to replace my stock shocks.
smooth sierra, i don't know if i asked you this or not but did you have to use shock extenders for the rear?

I was looking at the McGaughy kits and I'm wondering which one I need. There are 2 2/4 kits one with a C footnote and the other with a T.
C says:
"Spindles include call joint spacers without and flippng fo that 16" or larger rims can be used. You can only use these spindles on coil spring front end, 2WD, 1/2 Ton Chevy or Gmc trucks."
T says:
"Must use 17" or larger wheels in orger to use the spindles. Factory 17" wheels will work with a slight modification, aftermarket cast 17" wheels likely wont work.
My question is that I'm running 275/60/17, a pretty meaty tire, so do I need to go with the C or T kit? And since the C kits works with 16 or larger why do they even need a T kit?

I have 20" wheels so clearance was not an issue for me
