ever checked out a reflexxion hood? sure the goodmark uses the gm bracing, but reflexxion has their own bracing that is actually designed to brace a cowl hood, not a factory hood. i was kinda let down when i saw how the bracing was done on the goodmark. a little ghetto but it gets the job done. my old reflexxion also seemed more durable....you know like when your washing the hood and the metal flexes a little. i dont think the reflexxion ever did that but i immediatly noticed the flex of the goodmark. cant go wrong with either hood, but i think reflexxion may have the upper hand due to first hand experience. i would pick the hood by whichever you can find the best deal on.

WaitintoDrag, what kind of wheels are they? Also, i think you should leave the factory hood, your front end looks perfectly clean how it is.

nice write up TxSilverado....

1badsilver.....I have 22x10 Intro Twisted Blade 6's....and thank you for the compliment.

IMO....i think a cowl hood will do justice to my "performance" intentions, behing that i roll with a more "show" oriented crowd. Or, i could just say heck with a hood and go with the 90mm TB/LPE GT2-3 mod :/ :/

Can any of the hoods come painted? I'm not sure which one to get yet. the cowl or the ram air. Any one have pics of an 05' GMC with ram air? I've seen the ones in truck'n, but its not an 05'.
