Default Anybody clear coat their billet wheels?

Let's just say I have a really dull set of Boyds from a previous vehicle and was wondering if anyone has cleared their polished wheels?
how much? where?

I did my own with Diamond Clear from Eastwood Co. and will never do it again. The product is really horriable and the Diamond Clear from the title is a complete misconception. I refinished my rims to a near mirror finish and now have a hazzy look after the clearcoat.
I am really interested in this clear powercoat option. Is it really 'clear'?

Yea I have seen a clear coat powder coat on some things and it looks good on everything I have seen it on but just not too sure i wana put them on my set of $3000 wheels. I might try and buy a fucked up wheel and see what it does to it.

you can clear powder coat then,i don't think i would clear them cause they would get hazy and probably crack up from heat.

Not sure about the clear powdercoat, but any paint shop should be able to clear coat the wheels. I have heard good and bad about it. It will supposedly only last about 1-2 years.

i had intro use the new ceramic clear on billets. They shine nicer than my chrome 454 ss wheels do.
