Default Another console / interior question

I have done quite a bit of searching and only have a few questions.

I have a 2002 extended cab. It has the jump seat with cup holders. I have the real dark greyish blue interior. I guess it is called graphite.

If I get a 99-02 console, it should bolt right up?

If I get a 03-06 console, I would need the glovebox replaced and it would bolt right up with no gaps?

What parts are needed to make the AC work from the rear?

What color is needed to match? Are the colors the same from year to year? In other words, if I get graphite from 99-06 it will be the same graphite in my truck?

If you get a 99-02 console, it will bolt right up, 03-06 require more parts as you mentioned...glove box, etc. As for the AC, not sure if it has separate controls, but on mine there are vents that run from the front to the rear for heat, that just seem to require one more duct to make it work. The interior colors are the same 99-02, not sure about 03 and up.

Just for your info, the rear console piece can be bought from the dealer cheaper than I've seen it on ebay, and it includes the lower bracket that's needed to bolt it up under the seats. Not sure about the front piece that bolts to the dash. I've seen the rear piece (part with cup-holder and console box) on ebay for upwards of $300...when I went to my local dealer, I got the whole thing, minus the rear piece with cup holder/ vents, complete with a cover for the front (if you wanted to mount it without the front piece that bolts to the dash), for about $130, with my discount since I also work at a dealer and know the parts manager.

Thanks for the reply. I do want to go all the way to the dash. I will see the price of getting it from a dealer friend of mine and post back the results.

Glad to help I you're just going for the back piece, you should be able to get off pretty cheaply. Here's a pic of mine with both pieces (got the front part and rear cover with vents and cup holder on ebay): Plus, If you sell your jump seat, you might even make a profit in the end
