Default For all of you picture hogs.......some exterior/interior updates...

Got the truck out the other day(slighty raining ) to snap a few pics of what I'm working on. The interior isn't quite finished yet(as you can see in the pics), but should be wrapped up this week. Sorry about all of the reflections on the interior pieces....

Exterior work-Took out my pos tribal grille and went with something alittle more traditional......Also put on my 6.0 emblems on the cowl.

Interior- Pretty much redid everything I had originally done....from the carpet, to the color, gauges,etc.....Wires are for my autometer c2 gauges(I'm still waiting on my nitrous pressure gauge to get here).

Like I said..sorry for all of the reflections, but I'll get some pics when its bright out side and away from trees, etc.

Here you can see the raindrops on the windshield reflecting off of the dash panel.

Temporary nitrous bottle location behind my seat.

Just a look through....

Hopefully the sun will come out sometime this week so I can get some better pics up. I also need to get some of my new nitrous setup as well. The pictures really don't do it justice, but I said I would get some up.

Lookin' good man. Question, did you paint your armrests and grab handle on the dash or did you wrap them? I'm debating which I should do when I do my interior because I'm not sure of how to prep it for painting.

I painted the armrests and doorpanels. The grab bar I had to dye because of the really soft material. Prepping for paint is not too bad(just a **** load of sanding). We used all automotive primer, base, hardener, and clearcoat. I did all of the sanding and Bondo did all the painting in the booth he works at. We did use some bulldog on a few of the pieces we were worried might not hold paint that well. Everything came out fine, and now its just a matter of waxing the interior instead of using the greasy knight.

I picked up the seats from an online store on ebay. Here is a link to the store and the seats I purchased.

They came with the sliders, but they didn't have any adaptors to fit our trucks. I simply made a set of adaptors out of some square iron tubing. I drilled the holes in the bottom for the stock stud and screws, and mounted the sliders by using the supplied bolts and then made sure they would stay put by welding them as well. Here's a picture of how they look at the bottom.

SSlow 4.8- Yeah, the last real thing to do is to do a fresh paint job. When I empty out my warehouse at the end of the year, its going back in for some serious exterior artwork/modifications.
