glad you're ok. I always fear people turning left into or veering on the highways into my trailer when Im hauling stuff, just for that reason! The guy will get his, itll catch up with him sooner or later...stuff always works out like that.

And yes...good thing you were in a truck that was made in America. Gm's for life.

WOW bro! I'm glad ya'll are alright and everything worked out. And glad to see your brother got himself a new truck too! Always more trucks out there to love but never enough brothers and friends. I know someone asked but why didn't the airbags go off?? Any did the insurance company give you a good amount for the truck and did you have insurance on the trailer as well?

I am not exactly sure why the airbags didn't go off. I am guessing because it wasn't a frontal implosion. I am glad they didn't though, because then I might have a broken nose too. The insurance company did us pretty well as far as the old truck. The duramax definitely boosted the value of the old truck. I don't even think he could have sold the truck for as much as we got. It's funny though because there is not a body panel on the truck that isn't damaged. The motor is probably shot too because after we stopped rolling it was making a horrible knocking noise. I was completely in shock after the accident though. I was freaking out trying to pick everything up. I even tried to put the tailgate back on. But as you can tell, it won't put up like its supposed to. The witness who was a nurse made me sit down before I passed out. I was soo pissed. I said more 4 letter words than I have my entire life...

I know what you mean about that shock thing. Broke both bones in my leg when I had a snowmobile vs snowmobile collision. I was determined to run over to my sled to make sure it was ok.. but with a extra joint on one leg that didn't work so well. But you think you coulda told me that... nope. Shock makes you body ignore almost anything. Glad you were ok though.. trucks can be replaced, people cannot

Whats bad is how someone can cause an accident like this and keep goin not knowing if they just killed everyone in the truck or not. At least you are ok though and eventually that guy/girl will get theirs.

Shoot, I would have loved to see it happen. Wouldn't it be pretty cool to watch (knowing that we all survived)?
