Got to learn to switch up a little, that way you can wipe out both arms and your back. 
Detailing is a PITA! I spend 6 hours polishing my wheels alone, (which BTW I haven't done in a few months and need to be done soon.) I know what you mean about pain but the rewards are immense.

just FWIW, here's a buddy of mine's ride that i detail for him regularly. nothing too fancy either, this is just a regular wash... no abrasives or wax or anything. once i get my good stuff ill ive this thing the full treatment. its a 100% original '87 camaro IROC-Z. he drives it to high school every day.

turtle wax brand...you mean the red one and the green one...they just finally started putting that stuff in a bottle instead of the paste can it's been in as long as I can remember...

What a difference with that IROC...my truck looks like the "before" pic right now...I'm actually tempted to run to the car wash at the moment lol.
Off topic, but I like the Iron Maiden "The Trooper" pic in your sig...one of my all time favorite songs from one of my top 3 favorite bands. I used to play that tune (I play bass) in my old band.
