Default 295/75/16 anybody tried it?

Debating on 305/70/16 or 295/75/16 tires.Just would hate to get the 295's and they rub real bad.. Dont have a body lift but I do have the the torsion bar cams and got the front sitting a bit higher than the rear. Anybody ever run this setup???

havent run or sold those but 1/2 ton trucks have more room for tires than the 3/4 ton trucks so it might work.

Will these be mounted on the stock rims? Your gonna need an 8" rim for those 305's. I wouldn't even put the 295's on a stock 7" rim - minimum specs say 7.5".

Do you have 33's on there already?

I've got 295 Nitto Terra Grapplers on my HD and they rub BAD. They look stupid on the stock rims too, I think. Bad decision. they bow out too much. i need wider wheels. i say stick with 285's.

That's just scary

You might have already seen this, but moregrip put 32's on his truck in a 305 width (all be it with 20s, though): https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=249496

Again, not stock rims, but the diameter and width are there for you.

With out turning up the torsion bars any you just need to stick with the stock size. 285 will prob fit with just a little turning of the torsion bars up a bit though.
