Default 275/55/17's

I just picked up a set of 06 polished 17"GMC wheels and I am trying to decide on what tire size to go with. All I have for a drop is 2" shackles so I dont know if 275/55/17's would be to short so maybe some 60's instead. Anybody with pics of these combos or opinions on what i should go with I would hear from ya.

Did I say that right? I don't know how that kind of tire measurement works. is the 1st number the width and the second the height or the other way around

275-55-17 would look like a 275-60-16 in overall diameter, that is the size i am going with when i upgrade to the 05 gmc 17's..

1st # is width and 2nd is height.

Go for it!!

L33Z71 has an 04 Sierra ECSB w/ 2" shackles, 17" Denali's, and 275/55/17 General Grabber UHPs. The truck looks AWESOME!!!!

I have Toyo Proxes 275/60/17 on Avalanche wheels and they look good for stock height.

i like a full fender well. thats why i have the same tires as element80 but on a 3/5 drop(pics in cardomain link). personally i think a 31" tire would look better on a factory height truck

I'm leaning towards the 55's. I just hope it doesn't come out looking like cheech's car with tiny wideass tires.
