Default 275/55/17?

Found a guy that is interested in trading my stock 16s for his 17s with 275/55/17 tires, i just dont know if my truck will look good since i only have 2in shackles. is the tire too short or will i be good?

My buddy used to run that tire with just shackles. i thought it looked very nice

No sorry he got 20s already and I never did get pics of it with those tires and wheels

275/55R17
28.9" overall
719rpms
36lbs

255/70R16
30.2" overall
692rpms
34lbs

So you'll have a bit more gap between the tire & fender, 0.65", & your speedometer & tach might be off SLIGHTLY by a bit due to the more higher, 27 rpms, but probably no more than it mighta been already. And you'll be 8lbs heavier overall from just the tires plus whatever the wheel weight difference is.

I ran a set of General Grabber UHP's on my 04 GMC w/ denali wheels & Shackles, and spring clamps, then I also added 1" front drop coils. I thought it looked damn good. I'll try to post some pics.
