275/40/17 Drag Radials On 17x8 Wheels?

As the title says.Can this be done?Would tire stick out too far?They are going on my 98 S10.If tires will be ok,can I fit these on the rear?Back spacing is 4.5 Thanks for any replies.Mike

I run 275/45/20's and my wheels are 8 or 7.5. 8 I think.
