Default 22's on a stock 04 Tahoe

Hello,

Can anyone tell me if I will have to modify my 04 Tahoe to fit 22X9.5" wheels with a 305/45/22 tire? I am not messing with the suspension at all.

I am worried about clearing issues, rubbing, turning etc.

Any info will help.

Thanks

the 305 may be too wide, but you never know!! I was told I couldnt fit a 305 on a 20" rim on my denali truck and it sits pretty high

I have 305/40/23 on my Tahoe. They rub slightly only when turning the wheel all the way to the right. They rub on the plastic in the wheel well that can easily be notched out to clear, I just havent gotten around to it.

I've gor Pirelli 305/40-22's on my Yuk with a 3/5 drop. Only slight rubbing at full lock turns

that combo should be fine at stock height. My friend had the same combo on his 2001 suburban and had no issues at all. You should be fine.
