Great job! Where did he get the rims re-chromed? It looks like black chrome. I would love to do that on my truck!

looks amazing! wish my black paint looked that good. i too am curious as to what is involved in this. wetsand and polish with rubbing comp, then polishing compound? high speed or low speed? just wondering as i will be attempting the same on a black truck that is in DESPERATE need. if you werent like 30 hours from me you would have another to do!

Ya great question. If youre willing to share your techniques Im sure wed all be super grateful. Id let you do Mine in a heart beat if we were closer.

having worked in a paint shop and having to do the buffing i can provide some personnel tips on getting that glass look...first of it is going to take all day if your doing it yourself.
1..wash truck
2..wet sand 1600or 2000grit to remove orange peel depending on how bad the peel and paint is
3..rubbing compound
4..machine polish
5..hand glaze
6..good wax
we used 3M products cant remember the part numbers...hope this helps
