Default 2004 Paintable front bumper?!?!

I was wondering if there was a non-SS front bumper that can be painted? I know the SS rear bumper is the same/similar to the front but I am looking for a paintable non-SS front bumper. Thanks!

Hmmm, "work truck" models have a painted rear step bumper and grey grille surround, but it doesn't list whether the front bumper is chrome or grey. I would check w/ your dealer and see if any 03-05 bumpers come in grey or "PTM" which is paint-to-match.

You can go to most plating shops and have them strip the chrome plating and then powder coat your bumper.

Thats what I plan on doing.

That would probably be the easiest way if you don't want the SS bumper. I'm 99% sure the W/T model still comes with the same bumper as the upper models (textured black, chrome, textured black). The rear bumper on the base model however, is painted grey instead of the chrome.
