You think a 2/4 would be too much if I have 285/60/18s? Anyone my area know of a good shop that could do the install if I chose not to?

I have a 4/6 and no carrier bearing bracket. They sent it to me but I have little vibration. I would have used it when I had the djm shackle and hanger cause it vibrated a lot then. Flip kit fixed the vibrating driveline. I used to deal with Stylin' Concepts for everything but Godfather Customs is less expensive and seems to know their stuff better.
Just my $.02

Would I need anything extra if I went with the DJM 2'' rear shackles? Or would be the McG be a better route?

They do have a patent on their shackles and have several years of R&D.
I called them myself to find out how much their drop would be and to find out if I would need a carrier bearing kit. They told me that it would cost $438+shipping (extended cab) and that I might or might not need the carrier bearing kit and I wouldn't need drop shocks. They told me that of all the drop installed on these trucks that only one needed the carrier bearing kit. I also asked if the drop spindles would work with 1" drop shocks because I want to drop mine 3/4. They told me yes, that the coils will work with the drop spindles.
