Default 17" Wheel Recommendations

Getting dizzy looking at al the possible styles.

I would prefer a gray colored wheel. I actually like the look of the gray painted stock wheels that come on the 2014 WT Silverado. Not wide enogh tho.

On a side note, can the factory steel wheels be widened?

Here's the factory wheel I'm talking about. I'd like to find something similar or something like the Weld ProStars.

Widening is going to be problematic.

widening is not an issue at all. I don't know what it costs but they will last forever. They are about to release a 6 lug pro star wheel. Lightweight and the look you are after. There is atleast a thread of two about them.

Yeah I saw that thread. Personally, I wish they were 5-spoke. Other than that, they're good looking wheels. In any event, I don't think there actually available right now.

If you're going for the 90s look then those last 2 will look good. You got the 17" titan wheels to choose from too

90s look, lol.

I grew up hot rodding in the 70s, so I guess my style is a little dated. 95% of the wheel styles I see I just don't like. Back in my day it was pretty much Cragar deep dish.

Anyway, the truck I'm ordering is the 1WT package (2014 RCSB), so black truck, black grill, black bumpers. I think the stock gray wheels look good with that package. I'll probably just get the rear wheels widened.

------

Actually, I need to add sone context. I'm ordering a 2014 RCSB and there's a local shop that will do some customizing before I take delivery. So primarily I'm having them do a 3/6 drop and now I'm looking at wheels. The dealership probably won't sign off on factory wheels widened. So I need to either find a wheel package l like or deal with the wheel widening on my own.
