I can see you may have forgotten about history when back in the day all the Chevy guys were crying about the original Hemi when it came out. I bet you didn't even know that Chevy designed it's own Hemi to compete but scrapped the idea when Nascar banned the Hemi from competition. I do have to give it to Chevy when the rest of the auto manufacturers decided to pull out of racing, Chevy said damn the torpedos full speed ahead. Thats where the proliferation of all the Chevy performance in the market cam from. Manufacturers R&D.

Wow! I just found this thread. Interesting views I might add. At the beginning of this topic, where the Lightning beats the QC Hemi, I too hope that the Lightning beat him. That was like comparing an apple to an orange. Sort of like putting up your local high school football team, against your local state Pro team. It just don't make no sense and it wouldn't be fun to watch. And then have the captain of the pro team, tell the world during a press conference, how bad they whooped the poor teenager's butt. Let's now compare an apple to an apple. Let's just see how much that same Lightning owner would like to stand up to my stock 6.4 supercharged Hemi Ram. Stock vs stock, blower vs blower, Dodge vs Ford. 
Ford better build a bigger motor.
