Thats a good run against the RX-7, I have seen some run mid 11s, but that was on like posted above, 30 #s of boost and nothing stock but the block. Just watch how you jump some of the turboed cars big bad boy, they might get you if you are in the 13s.There is several daily driven turbo cars in the low 13s, some in the high 12s, and real dependable as long as you aren't in the boost all day. I'm working on a project now on one of my shelby cars, lotus head and all, it'll be a screamer when its finished.

 

yea i normally watch out but i like testing against turbo cars because its apples to apples in a way. that way they can't complain abt me having FI and them not

 

They'll still have a load of excuses:

1. Not fair, you have more cylinders.
2. Not fair, you have more displacement.
3. Not fair, its a truck and has alot of torque.

And then they'll make fun of your fuel economy.

 

Nah, I wouldn't dare say that...............after I cook a few fast cars at the track, they always walk over and ask what I'm running. It sounds like a V-8 at idle and a leer jet taking off (spool), when they pop the hood and see the 4 banger, they are shocked!!!! I love killing cobras and vettes, it makes it hard for some body to build an ego when a little turboed dodge kills 'em. Thats enough of the car, this is a truck forum, so I'll quit.....LMAO!

 

if they do come with those excuses i can always say i weight 2x more than they do. so it cancells the rest out.
