broke his heart after he and his buddy were talking **** to me going down the highway saying things like those wheels are heavier than this whole car. so i wasn't about to take this, reached into my back seat popped the bottle open and only 500PSI and the bottle was roasting so i was like damn i'm about to get beat so i went at it anyway. slowed down the whole interstate to 50 and took off couldn't even feel my NX kick so it sucked but i started pulling and pulling away from him until 100 and i had bout 3-4 trucks on him . and he was pissed . he wanted a rematch and i told him to spend some money on that piece and come next time with money. now i'm just waitin for sunday. got a race set up for $100 against a 69 SuperSlow. can't wait to take him money. he too says i weight too much.

Sweet kill man. 3 to 4 trucks up to 100 is pretty serious. Do you think a twin turbo RX7 was really trying? Maybe I just thought they were faster than that. What size shot are you using? I beat my bros hemi the other day with my cummins and he might be looking to change that soon.

 

he was def. on it because i have him 1/2 a car to go. its just slow. and plus if he wasn't trying he would have caught up to me but i was just steady pulling. RX-7's are just overrated just like STI's and Evos. i got a buddy with and STI and he won't even go with me from a dead stop. as of now i'm only shooting a 150 waiting for my 175 jet to come in and/or getting my 2nd stage to shoot 2-125 shots.

 

if you are only running a 13.9 a wrx sti will leave you I promise,I have a friend with one he ran it stock at baytown it is a low 13 sec car if you can drive,maybe your buddy cant and thats why he wont race you

 

haha my truck is alot faster on the street than it is at the track. i have too many traction problems when at the track. if i can put all my power to the ground i'll be running low13's high 12's. i've beatened plenty of low 13 sec cars. SRT-10 QC is a mid 13 truck i think and i beat that by 2 truck lengths. i might get some slicks on and change my times for the better. he is not the only STI that won't race me. there is about 2 or 3 more besides him.

 

Hmm...very nice. I just thought since it was a race from a roll he would be able to keep up better but I've never raced one. Those hemis take to the juice quite well. I drove my 350 s10 around today to try to get some races and a very clean quad cab hemi with turndowns was the only person i lined up against. He didnt want to race so I guess he must have been stock besides the pipes.

 

i thought the same but he's RX-7 is basicly stock except for a few parts on it.

 

The SRT-10 QC is a 14 sec truck. High 13 with a hell of a tailwind...maybe.
RX7's are definitely over rated though without extensive mods.

 

RX-7s are pieces of crap, and so are the RX-8s, come to think of it. Good job pulling a very light car though (under 3000lbs if im not mistaken). Definitely an impressive kill regardless.

All the RX-7s you hear about in the magazines run close to 30lbs of boost to make 700hp and only ~350lbs of torque
