i was just woundering how my truck would do against the new tundra? My friends has one and it seems faster than my truck. And my other friend has a single cab and i know it is faster than my truck, but i was woundering about the ext. cab tundra.

 

IF your not running low 15s to high 14s stay out of the way. You will get beat. With your mods I wouldn't race him.

my altima ser with intake and exhaust ran a 14.3 and i chased one on the hw and he was slowly catching him.. i believe it was a CC.

 

try again...if your not running low 14's to mid 14's youll lose. stock scsb's will go 14.1 full weight off the show floor. ive heard of 4X4 crewcabs going 14.6. they have stout motors for sure

 

Motors are strong, but the main thing is that 6 speed trans gearing with the rear gear.

Definately going to have to be low 14s to have a chance though.

 

They are that quick?? I raced a 5.7 ex cab with my wifes 05 Acura TL three times and snatched him at the light all three times and pulled 2 cars on him each race. He asked if I had anything done to the car at the 4th light. Nope I tell'em it is 100 % stock. And it is. Each light was close to a quarter mile in between 2. **** I wonder what the wifes car runs in the quarter.

 

Does the car have the 3.5L? Those run near 100mph in the 1/4 stock. Sounds about right though.
