Default Truck Runs Better

Well After two weeks without the truck due to bad computer, it Finally got tuned. I will upload the sheet when he e-mails it to me but here's the stats.

HP 338
TQ 368

Well slightly disappointed until I actually got in the truck while he was dynoing the thing. My problem is that through 4 pulls, I was only boosting 4.5 psi. On the road I usually run between 6 and 7. When I am racing then I run 10 - 11 psi. These numbers will do for now. If anybody knows anything then tell me. I figure at 10 - 11 then I should be around 400 to 415 in the hp and 440 tq.

I did run it when I left the shop and the throttle response is a lot better. Noting to report on the racing scene unless you wanna call an eclipse a race but that was almost home and not even remotely close. The guy stopped at my house and said nice truck. I thought that was cool.

Sounds like the dyno was not loading the turbo.

I believe the same thing. But I have seen a couple of turbo vehicles dynoed and in all of them, the dyno couldn't load the turbo. All different dyno's, different places. How do you explain that. We turned the brakes up on the dyno and it still wouldn't load.

You could be right But I tell ya what that chicken wire helps keep me from having to scrape trucks like yours off the front end. After it eats them the flex helps it clean itself. Its a whole lot better than that bib on the front of yours.

aaaaaaaahahahahaha

Back at ya

What kinda dyno were you using?
@ 6psi on my stock 5.3 I was making 388rwhp/440rwtq
@ 8psi on my stock 5.3 I was making 420rwhp/465rwtq
You fill in the rest.

Its a dynojet dyno. I finally ran it today. Like an idiot I spooled it on the street and when I nailed it, I sat at the light half way through second. It was a Dodge Cummins and a punk kid. He pulled 3 or so on me but when I finally hooked, I passed him by 70. I really loved to mouth wide open effect and his friends ragging him.

Hey when ya get a chance you need to get in on this battle between me and sickred. I Don't think anyone will ever get the last laugh but its all fun and mostly funny.

LOL...I'm up for verbal jousting!! Problem is you guys are all the way out in AL so it would have to be keyboard raced, such as...I ran a 7.58 @ 183 last night...Back off me bitch!!
