Had a feeling that was going to happen with the outcome. What does that guys SRT8 run at the track mid to low 13's 1/4th mile?

Good race man!

A stock SRT8 is 425 HP at the crank with the 6.1, not 450. And no a Mopar intake won't get him that additional 25 HP either, lol.

No surprise the S10 wins looking at his times, lol. I used to trap 110-112 mph with my SRT8 but the weight of the car killed the ET's into the high 12.7-12.8's.

My 06 SRT8 was intake, tune, long tubes, catless mids, 3400 rpm convertor and the rear end out of an 09 ( has a real clutch pack limited slip in it)... If I could go back in time I would have gone with the 3.73 rear diff from the 6 speed manual 18" rim equipped R/T Challengers... I sold that car simply because Dodge's tuning was a joke.... and quite frankly still is with just Diablo's junk. It was begging for heads and cam.

I was told it added 30hp at the crank by the owner. thought it to be feasible on such a large motor but claimed it at 25hp to be safe. guess I should have done my research as I now know they are only good for around 20rwhp(18hp/22lbs is the dyno gain I found on an SRT forum via Google)
that 7hp difference could have put him in the lead! (jk'n of course)

mph is what you look at when racing from a roll.

sounds like me and you would have been a damn good race!

More like 5 Hp in reality, lol. I had a CAI on my car too and it really did nothing. The SRT8 has a very good air intake, even completely stock. Add a higher flowing filter if you like and call it done.

My car went okay, I won't deny that. Back a couple years ago at the local track in our local LX club myself and another SRT were the 2 fastest ones consistently with the fastest traps. Really we were just more on par with what the forums told you and the other guys were slow.... trapping closer to 100 mph. Now they have more modified cars, and the new 6.4's which are consistently faster as well. If Dodge had better tuning software available I would have considered sticking with it.

Your truck is a little beast, that is without doubt!
