So i finally got to race my friends 2001 2500HD. Hes been talking smack about my truck alot lately and i thought what the heck we can run them....so we decided to race from a 35 roll (Sweet spot for me hehe) lined up on an old stretch of hwy and ran 3 times....First run i jumped him right off by a length and pulled hard till about 60mph when he caught me but by 80 i had managed to pull ahead alittle and shut down at 98mph(stupid speed limiter ) the other two races were about the same. now i want to try and go from a dig but im pretty sure i'll get smoked, oh well it'll be fun. also, his truck is the 6.0 with Flowmaster exhaust and he claims to have a "chip" but im not sure about that one.

they make a 4 and a 5

 

If you have a rcsb I5 canyon or colorado then it runs mid 15's stock, if its a CC I5 it runs high 15's to low 16's stock, his big 2500 HD runs at best a mid 16, but more like 17's.

Did he hit the speed limiter? Thats a dead give away on chevys if they are modded or not.
