Default sad story

first race i race friends sti with an intake and exhaust. i stayed exactly one car behind him from 20-70. it sucked *****. but atleast i got the jump. .
i was wondering too, if he runs an 8.3 in the 1/8th wut yall think i run?

next one im at a light with this marauder i think thats how you spell that. anyway i pull the mercury thru the intersection and by the time i get thru it a freakin tbss pulls me hard. it sounded like an atleast an aftermarket exhaust. i dont kno but all i had to say was DAMN!!!put it like this the intersection was only 4 lanes wide, from the 1st light at 0mph to the second light i was at 60 how the hell, i mean ive onely heard those are fast. whats the weight on those?

The sti was at a lil' disadvantage from a roll, they're so fast in the 8th because of the awd, they're 60's are low which will cause their 8th to be kinda low. I bet if ya'll had kept going, u might could have started to walk on him a little bit. And the TBSS are really fast, my cousins got a vid of one at a GTO meet and it was running 8 flats all day long, don't know the mods of it though, he thinks he might have been sprayin'

I think both of the TBSS's you guys are talking about had some serious power adders. From what others are saying on here it would seem like a stock one would probably run around a 9 on a good day.

if the STI has any kind of computer tuning don't expect it to drop at top end. they will pull from bottom to top with some tuning. a car length is a couple of tenths i believe. not exactly sure. the TBSS are pretty fast as well. with a good driver and such they are high 13's stock. my friend has one and he said they have ALOT of torque management to keep the tranny from breaking and such. he said even with the traction controll off he has a hard time spinning them.
