Default ricer question

Allright, heres the rundown-
Guy I work with is a honda kid, through and through. He has a 96 Civic coupe, 5 speed with the base engine (I think). As far os mods go he has a header, full exhaust and a cai, as well as big wheels (heavy too) He wants to race me at the track up here in Epping, and provided it stops raining I'm game to do it regardless. My truck is a 2003 RCSB with a 4.8, 4x4 and automatic. I got a Flowmaster muffler (tailpipes fell off and got ran over- don't ask) and a AEM cai. Never been to the track to race but done my fair share from a stoplight, so I think I should be able to pull a decent reaction time. I think I stand a pretty good chance of beating him, just woundering on what everyone else thinks.

He stands no chance, My old truck (93 toyota 4x4 4cylinder) used to keep up with a car just like that minus the headers and rims so you should embarass him

Yeah you should have no problem!! but at the track, to better up your reaction time, stall it up and leave as soon as you see the 3rd yellow light up. That's how i been doing it and the last 12 times or so i've ran, 4 have been under a .010

I think it could possibly be a close race, but I'm gonna put my money on the Silvy. Let us know.

I say it should be a good race.If he is a good driver that is.
On my truck with all mods in sig i stall to about 1200 and leave on the second yellow. This always gets me a kickass reaction time...

What he said.

He may have a shot if its an EX. They were 127ish HP. 20 more then the DX or LX. If its a coupe it wont be and Si.

Look for a sun roof. The EX-Si's had sun roofs. If there is no roof hole he will be your bitch.
