raced a cobra..

Default raced a cobra..

Raced a cobra mustang last night, he had longtubes/straight mid pipes/catback, intake, pullied for 18 psi, heard the sc was ported but he didnt say. we went from a 40 roll both in second gear and I pulled him two cars to 80 then it just stayed there till 110ish and thats were he let off. I was on a 100 shot but had low bottle psi 800-850 but these cars are still quick on top end..

wow i bet that was a hell of a race to see. Did he expect your truck to be fast or did it catch him off guard?

The guy knew what I had but I dont think he knew what it would do, There was a hole croud of ford guys watching that didnt seem to worried about the race but never did get to talk to anyone cause we had to leave. It was a fun race I just wish i would have caught it on tape.
And thanks guys, Its was awsome to see the old truck tarrin it up.

congrats on the kill,nothing better than a truck beating a car!i am surprised the car was that weak with those mod's.i have a buddy with an 03 cobra that has a 4r70w swap,mach 1 longblock(original engine was blown by previous owner)catted x-pipe with stock manifolds,catback,9 psi with UNported eaton that runs 11.80's at 114.the car you ran should be atleast a few tenths quicker than his but anyway be proud,i would be!

Yeah I think he should have atleast stuck beside me but I dont think he was the greatest driver tho, he said it dynod 480rwhp?? I think mines just over 500 on the bottle so It should have made for a close race.
