So thursday night i was driving home with the wife and noticed a quad cab hemi driving up kinda fast with a RCSB silverado right behind (caravaning i guess). As they pass me, the silverado starts to rev on me and pretends to get in my lane pushing me over a foot or two. Real classy stuff. So I speed up and catch up. We drop down to about 70 and both hit it. I almost instantly pull him 5-6 lengths by 80-85 and let off. Then his hemi friend decided he wants some so he catches up. We do a 70 roll and i beat him by about the same. I let off just before i hit 90 and slowed down back to about 70 and his sliverado friend did the domestic fly by. Not sure what mods they had but they both had an exhaust. The silverado maybe had headers or no cats because it sounded pretty loud when he got on it.

 

Good Kills..And I believe every word of it as I raced a 5.7 tundra yesterday...On the highway and I spot him..speed up to catch up and he must have seen me coming and punched it...He got the jump by about 2 trucks and it took me from 60ish to 90ish to put a length on him...I was very surprised to say the least (I still need to install my 3.90 gears)

-The funny thing was he looked more suprised than me...lol

 

maybe he knew how easy it is to get you guys up and moving. Ill be honest, I had no clue until a few years ago all the mods available to you GM guys and how easy it is to make a 15-16 second truck into a 12-13 second beast.

I love that my truck is basically stock and is a low 14 high 13 second truck with less then 500 dollars invested, but by all means, I am also aware i am no where near as fast as 90% of the trucks on this site.

5 lengths in from 70 to 85. I gotta get me one of those tundras lol. Being a toyota tech might help me decide on a few mods.
