Smile New mustang gt's ego got deflated!

3 weeks back I saw this guy come into the store were I work at with a 40 aniversey (spelling) Mustang GT jacket on. Then I see him get into a new GT mustang white with blue stripes and a license plate that said somethng about his car (Im not going to say the guys license plate#) but it was humorous) Then he rips out the parking lot like a stud! So im going into town to fill up the gas tank and I see the same car come up on me. So I drove past the gas station to see if I cant get I light with him. It took 4 stoplight but finally we got lined up. The light turned green and I eased into the throttle a bit, my rev's built up around 3,000-3500 and was holding in 1st gear, and then were going side by side. We both totally lay into the throttle at the same time and by 70 I had pulled about 4-5 foot on him . Then we both let off at the next stop light he put is hand up in acknowledgement and wouldnt look over. I figured he would try to take off again but he didnt .

I absolutely raped one the other day after he got the jump on me from a dig ( thanks bald *** Toyo's ) I think they're gonna take a little more work than the previous gen GT's to really be quick. But, I don't think that'll take em long.

I was watching 2 Guys Garage a couple weeks back and with a Kenne Bell supercharger and a custom superchips tune, exhaust, it made 500 rwhp and 550tq. With is insane for just a bolt on supercharger with a pulley for more boost.

I got a thing in from procharger the other day claiming UNREAL numbers from a bone stock 05 mustang. I don't remember the exact numbers, but I do have the thing at home. I was extremely impressed.

Edit.....Here's the info from the newsletter

Looks like your truck is running strong, nice kill. He will probably have to line up with a honda to get his ego back

That article claims so serious times... well into the 11's... IMPRESSIVE.

I hate to admit it... I HATE TO ADMIT IT... I've always hated Mustangs but this new one is a dammed good lookin car. But I'd still NEVER EVER even think about buying one. Nope. Not a Chance. Nada. Not on your life. NO. Not today thank you. Never. No thank you. Well into the 11's huh.

Are you sure it wasn't a V-6 car?? Not calling BS, but the new Stangs are quick-my wife has an '05 V6 and she can spank my work truck (which has a 5.3, tune, cold air, etc etc) It doesn't matter what speed we race from, she just pulls away and keeps on pulling. I have never ran her car at the track but I am pretty sure it would be low 15's.

Anyways, good kill either way.....keep on spanking those Fords !!
