Mustang Vs the 5.9 Limited
#11
In high school I had a 95 limited grand cherokee with the 318(5.2L). I forget what it was called but I replaced the stock computer with a high performance computer from dodge, that added some timing and removed the speed limiter. I had it 130mph+ a few times. For what it was it really ran good

that is a very crappy, severely traction limited video in the rain. I couldn't launch it, and I couldn't go wide open due to the curve.

im sorry but i think ill have to disagree with the picture that its the fastest suv, i would say the typhoon was up until the tbss and srt8 cherokee era. thats just american groupings and not foreign stuff.
If your talking just americans brands that can actually go offroad then sure you might be able to make that statement..

The syclone/typhoon was built by a third party performance company, not directly by GM. The 5.9 Limited was built directly by chrysler, therefor they can make the fastest SUV statement legally, but not technically.
The typhoon was a full second faster from 0-60 then the 5.9 limited.
The 5.9 Limited held its status as the fastest production SUV until the SRT8 Grand Cherokee came out.

Yes they were completed by a second company, but they were production trucks. They were completed on the line just like anything else, but then where sent out to PAS inc. for the finishing touches that make them a sy/ty like turbo, intercooler, seats, cladding etc.. But they were a production vehicle, just very short one at that..
